Senate Stops Military Pension Cut, Ups Medicare Doc-Fix Pay

Law360, Washington (February 12, 2014, 4:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. Senate on Wednesday voted overwhelmingly in favor of a bill that restores $6.2 billion in military pension cuts and also establishes a fund to maintain “doc fix” payment levels that override the controversial Medicare sustainable growth rate formula, after the legislation earlier passed the House of Representatives.
