Priceline Founder Accuses Google Of Stealing Tagging Tech

Law360, Los Angeles (February 12, 2014, 8:39 PM EST) -- The founder of hit Google Inc. with a suit in Delaware federal court Wednesday claiming it pilfered his patented photo tagging technology for use on its Google Plus and Picasa platforms.

Inventor Holdings LLC, which now owns the patents developed by inventor Jay Walker’s Walker Digital LLC, accused Google of infringing its U.S. Patent No. 8,558,921, which covers technology that suggests metadata of photos online.
