Netflix Lands Rights To Disney 'Star Wars' Animated Show

Law360, New York (February 13, 2014, 2:39 PM EST) -- Netflix Inc. announced Thursday that it has exclusively licensed the rights to stream an animated "Star Wars" TV series, including its unaired sixth season, from the Walt Disney Co., furthering an already strong partnership between the entertainment giants and Netflix's efforts to expand its offerings of exclusive content.
