GAO Inquiry Sought For Troubled Ore. Health Exchange

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 6:33 PM EST) -- House Republicans on Thursday asked the U.S. Government Accountability Office to investigate Oregon’s deeply troubled health insurance marketplace, which received $300 million in federal grants but still lacks many basic functions.

The letter casts unwelcome attention on a state that warmly embraced the Affordable Care Act but has been unable to fulfill one of its central goals of helping consumers quickly and easily shop for health coverage.
