Apple Denied AIA Review Of VirnetX Patents In $368M Case

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 7:40 PM EST) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Tuesday refused to grant Apple Inc.'s request for an America Invents Act review of four VirnetX Inc. network security patents that Apple has been ordered to pay $368 million for infringing, saying the request was filed too late.
