EU Trade Deal Dead Unless US Spying Fixed, Lawmakers Say

Law360, New York (February 14, 2014, 6:50 PM EST) -- A European parliamentary committee on Wednesday backed a resolution calling on European Union lawmakers to refrain from agreeing to any trade deal with the U.S. unless it contains stringent privacy safeguards that address widespread concerns over the U.S. government's surveillance activities.
