7th Circuit Reinstates Race Bias Suit Against Prada

Law360, New York (March 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has revived a racial discrimination and retaliation suit brought by a former Prada saleswoman against the luxury goods company, finding the lower court misinterpreted the definition of race under Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866 in dismissing the suit.
