Staffing Cos. Reach $1.7M Deal In Wal-Mart Warehouse Beef

Law360, New York (February 18, 2014, 8:18 PM EST) -- Workers behind a proposed wage class action against Wal-Mart Stores East LP and others said in a California federal court on Friday that they agreed to accept a $1.7 million settlement — a sliver of the total damages the plaintiffs say they're entitled to in the case — with three staffing companies because of their distressed financial conditions.
