GM, Others Targeted In Tire Pressure Patent Suit

Law360, New York (March 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Michigan patent-holding company that sued nine car manufacturers last year charging infringement of its patents for tire pressure monitoring systems has hit seven major automakers, including GM, Saturn, Ford and Chrysler, with a similar lawsuit.

MHL TEK, LLC filed suit Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Named as defendants are General Motors Corp., Saturn Corp., Ford Motor Co., Land Rover North America, Volvo Cars of North America, Chrysler LLC and Mercedes-Benz USA LLC.
