RBS Sells Part Of Structured Products Unit To BNP Paribas

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 1:53 PM EST) -- Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC will sell part of its structured retail investor products and equity derivatives business to BNP Paribas SA, the companies said Wednesday, in a deal designed to boost BNP's global equities and commodities derivatives unit.

The financials of the deal were not disclosed. According to the companies, the transaction is expected to receive competition approval during the first quarter of 2014.
