Ferrostaal Unit Sinks $120M Into Mongolian Wind Farm

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 11:57 AM EST) -- A unit of Ferrostaal GmbH will shell out $120 million for a majority stake in a nearly completed wind project in Mongolia, allowing the Germany-based industrial service developer to manage the project while seeking out more foreign investments, the company said Wednesday.

Under the terms of the deal, Ferrostaal Industrial Projects GmbH, a project developer that facilitates international investments, will take hold of the Sainshand wind farm project, which is expected to generate 190 gigawatts and become Mongolia’s largest wind park, according to a statement....
