Spectra Inks 4 Transport Deals For $468M Pipeline Project

Law360, New York (February 19, 2014, 4:40 PM EST) -- A unit of Spectra Energy Corp. has secured agreements with four companies to transport natural gas for its Ohio Pipeline Energy Network project — a $468 million, 76-mile extension to an existing pipeline in Ohio.

A company spokesperson confirmed to Law360 on Wednesday that Spectra unit Texas Eastern Transmission LP has reached long-term agreements with Chesapeake Energy Corp., Consol Energy Inc., Total Gas & Power North America Inc. and Rice Energy Inc.
