Norton Rose Launches Brazil Office With Ex-BP Counsel

Law360, New York (February 25, 2014, 2:03 PM EST) -- Norton Rose Fulbright has launched an office in Brazil focused on energy, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance and hired the former assistant general counsel at energy giant BP PLC to serve as co-head of the firm’s third Latin American outpost.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s Rio de Janeiro-based Brazil practice will be its 55th office worldwide and its third office in Latin America, where the firm already has established offices in Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogota, Colombia, the firm said in a statement Feb. 19.
