Deals Rumor Mill: Nokia, Merck, J. Jill

Law360, New York (February 20, 2014, 3:22 PM EST) -- U.S.-based Juniper Networks Inc. may soon be snapped up by Nokia Corp. and merged into the Finnish company's telecommunications network gear business, Reuters reports, citing Germany's Manager Magazin Online. Late last year, Rajeev Suri, Nokia Solutions and Networks chief executive officer, reportedly flew to the U.S. to discuss the possibility of a merger that would serve to strengthen NSN's weak U.S. business. Juniper has a stock market value of $13.7 billion, according to the report.
