SUNY Makes Deal To Keep Hospital Open Under New Operator

Law360, New York (February 21, 2014, 4:08 PM EST) -- The State University of New York, unions and community groups in northern Brooklyn have agreed to settle litigation over the financially strapped Long Island College Hospital, clearing the way for SUNY to find another operator for the hospital, officials announced Thursday.
