Law360, Los Angeles (February 21, 2014, 7:39 PM EST) -- A Maryland federal judge on Friday shut down Par Pharmaceutical Inc.’s bid to keep for itself its formula for a drug that combats anorexia and extreme weight loss in patients with AIDS, finding that the company’s invention was obvious in light of previous drug developments.
