UAW Faces Long Odds In Getting A New Vote At VW

Law360, New York (February 21, 2014, 8:26 PM EST) -- The United Auto Workers on Friday asked the National Labor Relations Board to overturn its defeat in an election at Volkswagen AG's Chattanooga, Tenn., plant, but labor law experts say that the union — which blames interfering politicians for the result — faces a tough road to convince the board of the unusual proposition that conduct by someone other than the employer tainted the vote.
