GOP Sens. Push HHS To Rescind Medicare Advantage Cuts

Law360, Washington (February 25, 2014, 3:22 PM EST) -- Six Republican senators urged the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday to stop slashing Medicare prescription drug benefits and Medicare Advantage plan payments, claiming the “misguided policies” are jeopardizing seniors' health care.

In a letter addressed to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, the Senate GOP leadership claimed the new Medicare Advantage and Part D cuts are damaging a working health care regime for seniors in favor of the flawed Affordable Care Act.
