Houston Firefighters Union Sues City Over Staff Cuts

Law360, Houston (February 25, 2014, 9:59 PM EST) -- The Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association was dealt a setback Tuesday when a Texas judge denied its request to stop the city from limiting emergency services to cover $8.5 million in unexpected overtime pay, a move the union says violates its collective bargaining agreement.
