Harrisburg Receivership To End March 1, Pa. Judge Rules

Law360, Philadelphia (February 25, 2014, 5:56 PM EST) -- Efforts to right the troubled finances of Pennsylvania’s capital city and avoid a bankruptcy filing have progressed enough to warrant the end of a three-year stay under the authority of a state-appointed fiscal monitor, a Commonwealth Court judge ruled on Tuesday.
