US Striving To Secure Small Biz Benefits In EU Trade Deal

Law360, New York (February 26, 2014, 5:31 PM EST) -- The Obama administration on Tuesday announced that it has commenced an interagency effort aimed at ensuring that the ongoing Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership negotiations with the European Union improve export opportunities for small businesses.

The Small Business Administration issued a brief statement saying it had begun engaging with the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to identify policies that are preventing small and medium enterprises, or SMEs, from tapping into the full potential of the EU market.
