Rambus Will Seek Injunction Against Hynix

Law360, New York (March 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One day after a federal jury handed Rambus Inc. a victory in a long-running antitrust case, lawyers reportedly said the company will seek a court injunction to prevent Hynix Semiconductor Inc. from designing memory chips that infringe its patents.

Lawyers representing the Los Altos, Calif.-based technology company told Reuters on Thursday that Rambus will ask the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for an injunction against its rival.
