JPMorgan Consolidates Offices, Moves Some To Brooklyn

Law360, New York (February 27, 2014, 6:12 PM EST) -- About 2,000 JPMorgan Chase & Co. employees will be packing up their desks and moving to two offices in Brooklyn’s MetroTech Center as the result of the lender’s review of its real estate holdings, according to a media report Wednesday.

Consolidating offices and moving more of its staff into the sought-after downtown Brooklyn area is part of a greater effort to cut costs and simplify by leaving businesses like student lending and private equity, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing an unnamed source.
