Law360, New York (February 27, 2014, 7:57 PM EST) -- An association of technology companies told the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday that while a lower court correctly ruled four Alice Corp. Pty. Ltd. computerized trading patents were invalid, the justices, in backing that decision, shouldn't set a legal standard barring groundbreaking software from being patented.
