Conn. Bill Would Extend Research Credit To S Corps

Law360, New York (February 28, 2014, 5:47 PM EST) -- A bill introduced Thursday in Connecticut's legislature would extend the state's research and experimental expenditure tax credit to pass-through entities.

The issue of expanding the scope of the state's research and experimental tax credit was raised last week during a meeting of the Connecticut Assembly Commerce Committee. The tax incentive is one of two credits offered in Connecticut for research and development activity done in-state.
