DynCorp Gets Ex-Worker's Whistleblower FCA Suit Nixed

Law360, San Francisco (February 28, 2014, 6:48 PM EST) -- A Virginia federal judge on Friday threw out a former DynCorp International Inc. employee's suit accusing the military contractor of firing him after he questioned its alleged use of fraudulent billing practices, finding no evidence that DynCorp's practices defrauded the federal government.

Scott Carlson's claims that DynCorp tried to mask overhead costs by charging general and administrative expenses to a code for a past project fail because there's no proof the practice actually deceived the government, U.S. District Judge Liam O'Grady said in his ruling....
