USTR Drops Israel From IP Watch List After Patent Reform

Law360, New York (March 3, 2014, 5:34 PM EST) -- The U.S. Trade Representative's office said Friday that Israel had been removed from the agency's watch list for intellectual property violations in light of reforms to the country's patent system.

The USTR said Israel would no longer be listed in the Special 301 report, an annual publication in which the trade agency identifies U.S. trading partners that don't do enough to protect against potential intellectual property rights violations.
