NJ Firms Reap Millions From Uptick In Lobbying Work

Law360, New York (March 7, 2014, 10:26 PM EST) -- Gibbons PC, Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP and other top New Jersey law firms and related entities were among the businesses that collected about $54 million in state lobbying receipts in 2013, in what experts see as a continued area of expansion for firms looking to cross-sell services to clients and boost revenue.

Companies, special interest groups and others spent $60.2 million on lobbying in New Jersey last year, a 3.8 percent increase compared to 2012, the state Election Law Enforcement Commission reported Thursday....
