NY 'Boss Bill' Would Ban Limits On Birth Control

Law360, New York (March 5, 2014, 1:33 PM EST) -- Two New York lawmakers on Wednesday proposed a bill to close a “glaring loophole” in employment rights by banning businesses from discriminating against workers based on their reproductive health decisions, as the U.S. Supreme Court mulls the issue in the context of the Affordable Care Act.

State Sen. Liz Krueger and Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee, both Democrats, said their "boss bill" was prompted by a proliferation of lawsuits over such restrictions including litigation involving arts and crafts retailer Hobby Lobby Stores Inc. before the nation's high court....
