Wis. Senate Passes Gov. Walker's $500M Tax Cut Plan

Law360, New York (March 05, 2014, 12:49 PM ET) -- The Wisconsin Senate on Tuesday passed Gov. Scott Walker's sweeping tax reform legislation, the so-called "Blueprint for Prosperity," which will give state residents over $500 million in income and property tax cuts.

Senate Bill 1, which passed with a 17-15 vote margin, returns a large chunk of Wisconsin's income surplus back to its taxpayers, and the bill is now headed back to the state's Assembly for final approval before landing on Walker's desk for signing.
