General Dynamics Wins $36M For Navy Submarine R&D

Law360, New York (March 5, 2014, 4:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. Navy has awarded a General Dynamics Corp. unit two contract modifications worth a combined $36 million for submarine technology research and hardware procurement, the company announced Wednesday.

The modifications will provide funding for the Groton, Conn.-based General Dynamics Electric Boat to conduct technological studies and procure missile compartment hardware as part of two submarine development contracts that hold a potential value of over $3 billion, according to the company.
