Duke Snaps Up Pair Of 20-MW Calif. Solar Plants

Law360, New York (March 6, 2014, 5:17 PM EST) -- Duke Energy Inc.'s renewable energy arm said Thursday that it had bought a pair of 20-megawatt solar projects in California from Australia-based renewable developer Infigen Energy for an undisclosed price, giving the energy giant four utility-scale solar projects in the Golden State.

Duke said the Pumpjack and Wildwood Solar Power Projects, located near Bakersfield, Calif., are construction-ready and once completed, will boost the amount of solar power the company owns and operates in California to over 65 megawatts.
