Law360, New York (March 07, 2014, 10:36 PM ET) -- Two shipping companies have agreed to pay $3.4 million to settle a whistleblower suit alleging they violated the False Claims Act by fixing the price of government cargo transportation contracts between the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico, the U.S. Department of Justice said Friday.
