Progress Energy Units Win $104M In Spent Nuclear Fuel Row

Law360, New York (March 10, 2014, 5:12 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Court of Federal Claims judge awarded two Progress Energy Inc. units $103.7 million in damages Monday in their suit claiming the government breached a contract to collect spent nuclear fuel between 2006 and 2010 from four power plants in the Carolinas and Florida.
