Dem Super PAC Can Accept Pa. Campaign Donations

Law360, Philadelphia (March 11, 2014, 6:00 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday granted a preliminary injunction to a Democratic super PAC seeking to open up the state’s campaign finance laws, with Pennsylvania saying it would not oppose the move.

U.S. District Judge William W. Caldwell’s ruling means that General Majority PAC, which works nationwide to elect Democratic candidates to state Legislatures, can take contributions from corporate and labor groups and use them in Pennsylvania campaigns.
