Suit Claims Contractor Stiffed Electric Co. For NASA Work

Law360, New York (March 12, 2014, 5:38 PM EDT) -- A Maryland electric company filed suit Wednesday against a large Washington, D.C.-area contractor, claiming it stiffed a local electric company out of more than $100,000 for subcontracting work it performed on NASA's Goddard Flight Center.

The suit, filed by behalf of Odenton, Md.-based Star Electric Company Inc., claims the John C. Grimberg Co. has failed to make due on a large portion of a $1.29 million subcontracting deal it inked with Star Electric in November 2011.
