Ex-Australian Hotel Co. Head's Sentence Upped To 3.5 Years

Law360, New York (March 14, 2014, 5:28 PM EDT) -- Australian hotel chain Compass Hotel Group Ltd.'s former head, who was convicted of submitting false statements to the country’s financial regulator, had his jail sentence increased Friday to three years and six months, following an appeal by federal prosecutors.
