Teamsters Denounce US-Korea Free Trade Agreement

Law360, Washington (March 14, 2014, 7:50 PM EDT) -- The International Brotherhood of Teamsters marked the two-year anniversary of the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement on Friday by denouncing it, saying it has enriched large companies while eliminating U.S. middle-class jobs.

The union, which represents 1.4 million workers, said a recent study by Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch showed that the agreement had cost more than 46,000 U.S. jobs, and it also expressed concern over the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
