Calif. Bullet Train Project Gets OK To Seize Properties

Law360, New York (March 17, 2014, 3:37 PM EDT) -- The California High Speed Rail Authority moved one step closer Friday to commencing construction on the state’s two-decades-old, $68 billion high-speed rail project, getting permission from a state board to start eminent domain actions on a handful of properties the authority needs for the initial segment of the line.
