Bill To Stop Bias Against Unemployed Advances In NJ
The state Senate Labor Committee in a 3-2 vote cleared the bill, S1440, to combat employment status discrimination by blocking businesses from basing hiring, compensation and other employment decisions on those grounds and exposing violators to fines.
