2nd Circ. Affirms $3M DVR Arbitration Award Against TiVo

Law360, Los Angeles (March 17, 2014, 4:52 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Monday said TiVo Inc. must pay more than $3 million in royalties to Good Inventions LLC in connection with a $500 million settlement with EchoStar Corp. over TiVo’s so-called time-warp technology, saying the arbitration panel didn’t misinterpret the parties’ patent license agreement.
