Ex-Spector Gadon Atty Gets 2 Years For Thefts From Clients

Law360, Philadelphia (June 23, 2014, 1:54 PM EDT) -- A former trusts and estates attorney with Philadelphia-based Spector Gadon & Rosen PC was sentenced to two years in prison on Monday after admitting to stealing clients' funds over a five-year period to pay his personal debts.

U.S. District Judge Legrome Davis hit Gomer Thomas Williams with the 24-month term after both Williams' attorney and the assistant U.S. attorney asked him to depart from federal guidelines because Williams had turned himself in, notifying the firm and prosecutors of his misdeeds before he was caught.
