Australian Dept. Store David Jones To Reassess Myer Merger

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 2:50 PM EDT) -- Australian department store chain David Jones Ltd. said Tuesday that it will assess the value of a possible merger with larger rival Myer Holdings Ltd., signaling that it may consider Myer’s proposed AU$3.4 billion offer (US$3.1 billion) after spurning the proposal last year.
