Pfizer Files 2 Suits To Block Torrent’s Generic Viagra

Law360, Washington (March 18, 2014, 6:31 PM EDT) -- Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. sued India-based Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. on Monday in both New York and New Jersey federal courts seeking to stop the sales of a generic version of Viagra, Pfizer's well-known erectile-dysfunction drug, arguing it is still under patent.
