Duped Dater Says OkCupid Exposed Him To Swindler

Law360, New York (March 18, 2014, 7:42 PM EDT) -- A Queens, N.Y., man has sued OkCupid and parent company InterActiveCorp, as well as Capital One Financial Corp., Monday in New York state court, alleging that the dating website’s poor screening procedures and the bank's negligence of monitoring his wire transfers allowed a date to defraud him out of $70,000.
