Call Center Workers Sue Dell For Unpaid Wages

Law360, New York (April 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sales representatives in Dell Inc.'s Texas call center have launched a nationwide collective action alleging the computer giant breached the Fair Labor Standards Act by denying them overtime and failing to keep an accurate record of their work hours.

The FLSA action, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, is at least the second filed against the company by sales representatives; a similar complaint was lodged in February 2007 by employees in a Dell-run Oregon call center.
