Riddell Owes $37M To Paralyzed Football Player, Jury Told

Law360, Los Angeles (March 19, 2014, 9:10 PM EDT) -- Athletic equipment maker Riddell Inc. owes $37 million to a high school football player left partially paralyzed after suffering a brain injury allegedly caused by a Riddell helmet during an on-field collision, the player's attorney told a California jury at closing arguments Wednesday.
