Exxon Agrees To Disclose Climate Risks To Investors

Law360, New York (March 20, 2014, 4:45 PM EDT) -- ExxonMobil Corp. has agreed to publish a report outlining how it assesses climate change risks to its business, a group of shareholders pressing the energy giant to tackle the issue announced Thursday.

Arjuna Capital, the sustainable wealth management platform of investment firm Baldwin Brothers Inc., and As You Sow, an environmental corporate responsibility advocacy group, said that ExxonMobil will post a carbon asset risk report on the company's website describing how it determines the risk of stranded energy assets from climate change.
