Ex-Employee Calls For Sanctions In Fresenius FCA Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (March 20, 2014, 9:32 PM EDT) -- The plaintiff in a False Claims Act suit alleging Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. improperly billed Medicare for millions of dollars in excess drugs called for sanctions against the company, saying on Thursday it had unnecessarily delayed the discovery process.

Chester Saldivar, a former employee of Fresenius, said the company intentionally withheld documents that demonstrated its methods for calculating the average sales price for dialysis drugs, according to a motion filed in Georgia federal court.
