Deals Rumor Mill: Temasek, Danone, Air Berlin

Law360, New York (March 21, 2014, 4:23 PM EDT) -- Singapore’s state-owned investment company Temasek Holdings Pte. is considering the sale of about $1 billion of stakes in leveraged buyout funds to the former private equity unit of French insurer Axa SA, Aridan, Bloomberg reported Friday. Ardian will partly finance the transaction with debt and will sell some of the holdings to its own investors. The deal is may close later this month.

Temasek is also reportedly preparing to make a multibillion-dollar strategic stake in Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing’s retail flagship, The Wall Street Journal...
